Get Paid to take Surveys!

Thanks for starting this community.

Do people actually make much money on this? I'm signed up with a few companies, and I don't seem to make much money. I did get called to do a couple of in-person focus groups, and those were fun. Plus, I got a free lunch and $150 bucks for my time, which was even better.

That said, I accidentally clicked on some spam that may or may not result in me getting a free 20 GB ipod. If anyone's interested, you're supposed to complete one of their offers (I did a Blockbuster membership, because we'd been wanting one anyways; they also have audio books, credit cards, and that kind of thing), and they say they'll send the ipod. Of course, you're also supposed to refer five people, so I figured I'd post a link, and if I can get a couple of people to sign up, I might luck out and actually get something cool.

I hope it isn't a problem that I posted this here.

I haven't established any rules regarding this community but the only request I have is: Make sure the site is legitimate before adding it to this site!

Also, if you notice the bottom part of your link states: We encourage users to post their referral link online, but will not tolerate users who mass-post on the internet. This LJ venue could constitute mass-posting!

The survey links I provide are authentic money-making surveys and you DO make money from them. I will be sharing a few other as well shortly as I try them myself to see if they truly to bring in some monetary value.

Good luck!

They also suggested posting in your blog, so I figured this was okay. As far as I can tell, they're legitimate, but I'm not a very trusting person.

Neither negative nor positive comments from the Better Business Bureau.

freeipods.com IS legit. i haven't done it myself, but there are a lot of articles about it and one of my friends got a free ipod through the site. i was wary of the system too, at first, because it seems too good to be true, but nope, it's absolutely fine. :)
and a suggestion if you're having trouble getting people to sign up: my friend paid people ten dollars each to sign up for the thingies they had to sign up for. even though the process that he used meant he was spending money to get his free ipod, he wound up spending only 50dollars for an ipod that normally costs hundreds. does that make sense?
